About Me

I'm Steph.  I'm not a blogger, I'm a real person.  I don't spend my weekends DIY-ing, I don't wear makeup or cute outfits most days, and I wouldn't know what to do with a DSLR camera if I had one.  The only bloggy-type thing I do is to spend a few hours cooking dinner on random Tuesdays, but without a Pinterest-sanctioned recipe, I'd have no clue where to start.

I originally hail from the D.C. area.  After getting my B.S. in Psychology from Virginia Tech,  I packed up and moved to Myrtle Beach to try to figure out what to do with it.  Eventually, I went back to school, and I got my M.A.T. in Secondary Social Studies Education from Coastal Carolina University.  In July, my boyfriend Patrick and I relocated to Wilmington, North Carolina, where I'm just trying to figure out what's next.

I was never really the kind of kid that pictured what my life would be like, but I do know that I thought I would be a bit closer to My Real, Grownup Life by this point.  I figure I'm about halfway there, but then again, does anyone really ever have it all together, anyway?  This is me for real.
